Storj is looking for an experienced field sales technical engineer with at least 10 years of work experience as a quota carrying sales engineer who sold infrastructure (ideally, storage infrastructure) into enterprises of all sizes and meeting or exceeding assigned quotas. It is also good to have experience working with and supporting channel partners and boutique systems integrators. This person will have a demonstrated history of working well in “team” environment. Additionally, this person will have strong presentation skills with experience presenting on a whiteboard and drawing use case solutions and taking prospective customers through a use-case focused, constructive dialog. The candidate will have a sense of urgency and extraordinary attention to detail. Creativity is also a critical thinking skill that is highly valued among all successful sales engineering candidates.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive net new logo acquisition with your assigned account executive 
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets, goals, and quotas
  • Lead technical deep dive conversations with mid-market and major enterprise end users
  • Build strong relationships of trust so customers view their “Storj SE” as a “trusted advisor”
  • Manage all technical aspects of the Storj selling motion and work in tandem with the Account Executive teammate who is responsible for all commercial aspects of the Storj sales process
  • Work with and communicate key technical product feature/function requests from prospective and existing customers


Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of relevant work experience as a quota-carrying sales engineer selling infrastructure solutions directly into enterprise customers
  • Working knowledge of cloud and multi-cloud data strategies
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned quotas
  • Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
