Storj Overview

Storj Labs Inc. is pioneering decentralized cloud storage with the world's first decentralized cloud storage network, Tardigrade, along with making object storage more affordable, secure, resilient, and faster than other leading cloud storage providers. Our mission is to enable the decentralized future, and our vision is to be the storage layer for the decentralized internet. Accomplishing this goal means building a team equipped and empowered to propel us forward.

Storj is starting an exciting new product direction to provide high quality interoperability between our decentralized storage network and network edge hosting providers. In this role, you will operationalize a global fleet of bare metal servers that peer directly with each locale’s network service providers. This role plays a key part in our new product direction and requires experience in managing servers and running services to maximize availability, redundancy, performance, and durability, while minimizing network latency to the barest of minimums.

Storj Labs is a globally-distributed company. As a remote-first team, we’ve built a culture based on transparency and open communication. Storj provides the opportunity to gather together (when traveling is safe) in an optional week-long retreat several times per year.

Storj offers a culture of empowerment and progress. We provide extensive company-wide and individualized professional development, a peer mentorship program, and training. Our suite of benefits is generous and comprehensive. On top of strong healthcare benefits, we offer substantial equity, unlimited PTO, and considerable parental leave.
